The event facilitated in-depth academic exchanges with over 150 medical authorities across China and Aeroad took the opportunity to showcase the innovative Isolated Infection Ambulance developed to combat COVID-19.
Academic Exchanges on Emergency Rescue Management
Aeroad initiated the medical academic presentation with the topic “Intelligent Medical Cabin — The Extension of Remote Medical Information System”. In present, the pre-hospital emergency rescue system has been developing dramatically, especially in terms of intelligence and informatization; on the contrary, as one of most important part of an ambulance, the medical compartment has been relatively slow. When one or more of the following situations occur and need to be resolved immediately, the best course of action might not be determined:
- Why are the lights not working? Why does the AC stop working? What are the electrical failures?
- When did we run out of the oxygen? Does the oxygen switch automatically? Can we supply oxygen with both cylinders at the same time?
- How long has the air filtration system been working? How should me maintain the air filtration system? When should we replace the filter?
- Is the stretcher back yet? Are all medical equipments in place? Have all medical equipments been fastened properly?

Carrier of Intelligent Medical Cabin
The Isolated Infection Ambulance, as carrier of intelligent medical cabin and innovation for COVID-19 combat, was showcased during the conference. Aiming to protect paramedics from getting infected while transporting and treating patients with COVID-19, the interior of this ambulance adopts the three-area-and-two-route layout design. While transporting, paramedics and patients would be sitting in designated areas separated by partition walls, with no airflow intersection and under designated pressure state to avoid cross transmission. Built upon the layout, this ambulance is configured with the following systems to assist with medical operation and protection: multi-console touchpanel systems, inter-locking system, dual rescue spots, independent systems of AC, surveillance and disinfection.
